Nervo — EDM, Electro House & Progressive DJNervo
Miriam and Olivia Nervo, known as NERVO, are twin Australian DJs born and raised in Ivanhoe, Melbourne, who moved to London at 19. Also called Mim and Liv or the Nervo Twins, they began as songwriters, signing with Sony/ATV Music Publishing at 18 and co-writing David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's Grammy-winning When Love Takes Over before establishing their own DJ and producer act. Releasing as NERVO since 2005, the sisters work across EDM, electro house and progressive house.
Their DJ appearances include Tomorrowland, where they returned in 2022 with a performance raising awareness of child trafficking and forced child labour, and BBC Radio 1's Ibiza coverage in 2013 alongside Pete Tong, Solomun, George FitzGerald and Chris Malinchak. They hosted the monthly Nervonation show on Sirius Radio from 2011 and have released through Ultra, Virgin, EMI, Spinnin', Big Beat, Monstercat and Armada. Their One live-show project was noted for combining storytelling, dance and Cirque du Soleil flair.
DJ Mag placed NERVO as high as 16th in 2013 and 50th in 2024. Their background as globally successful writers informs a DJ identity that combines polished electronic sets, theatrical live concepts and a longstanding presence across radio, festival and club-adjacent contexts.
