Mike Williams

Mike Willemsen, known as Mike Williams and also as WLLMS, is a Dutch DJ from Kortenhoef, North Holland. He learned piano at six, began DJing at 12 and played his first club gig at 14, establishing a practical performance background before attracting wider attention with remixes and bootlegs. His versions of Calvin Harris's Blame and Carly Rae Jepsen's I Really Like You drew industry interest, and Oliver Heldens regularly played the Blame remix in his sets. Williams signed with Spinnin' Records and was personally signed by Tiësto, releasing Sweet & Sour on Tiësto's Musical Freedom in 2016; the track reached six on Beatport's Top 100.

Tiësto introduced him at Ultra Music Festival in 2016, a year that also included Mysteryland and an Amsterdam Dance Event debut. His live itinerary has included Spinnin' Hotel in Miami and the AFAS Stadion in Alkmaar during SLAM! Koningsdag 2017. Williams hosts Mike Williams on Track, a radio show launched on Dutch station SLAM!

in January 2017. His music is associated with future bounce, and he is regarded as one of the style's pioneers alongside Brooks and Mesto. The Tiësto collaboration I Want You had more than 16 million plays by March 2017, and his 2017 DJ Magazine Top 100 appearance reflected the fast growth of this future-house-focused DJ career.
