Mike Foyle

Mike Foyle is a British progressive house and trance DJ from Southampton, England, who has also recorded under the aliases Statica, Bolt and Andromeda. He began playing clubs in 2006 after winning a DJ contest run by the London promoters behind the Vaccine event brand, which led to his first official booking at the now-closed Turnmills nightclub in Farringdon. Since then Foyle has toured internationally, playing festivals, clubs and private events built around a melodic, progressive strand of trance. His production work runs alongside that touring career: the 2005 debut single Space Guitar appeared on Electronic Elements, a sub-label of Armada Music, while his collaboration with Signalrunners, Love Theme Dusk, received regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and became a signature selection in Armin van Buuren's sets for months after its release, later regarded as a genre staple. Foyle continues to record for Armada-affiliated imprints and remains active as a touring DJ, with his classically trained background on violin and piano informing the melodic character of his productions and live sets alike.
