Miguel Bastida
Miguel Bastida, born in Granada, Spain, in 1984, started his DJ career at age 14 with a slot at a local radio station in his hometown of Alhama de Granada, mastering mixing by 16 before moving into production shortly after. Now based in Barcelona, he founded his own label, Be One Records, which supports both established and emerging house talent, while releasing his own productions through Toolroom, Deeperfect, elrow Music, Sci-Tec, and Suara.
His 2015 track “Moudness” became a breakthrough success, landing on the Beatport charts and helping expand his profile beyond Spain. Bastida's touring has taken him to clubs and festivals in New York, Chicago, Australia, and New Zealand, reflecting a career that has grown from local radio beginnings into international house bookings.
He also founded an earlier electronic band project, Raíz Electrónica, before concentrating fully on his solo DJ and production career. Considered one of the most in-demand Spanish house artists working internationally, Bastida's path from teenage radio DJ to label owner and globally booked artist traces a steady rise built on Spain's house scene and expanding worldwide connections.
