Melleefresh
Melleefresh is Melissa Marie Green, a Canadian vocalist, producer, and DJ who has worked in the country's electronic arts scene for nearly three decades. She is best known for a long-running collaborative relationship with deadmau5, first performing live together in 2006 at the No Exit Outdoor Festival in Montreal, and for tracks including 'Hey Baby' and 'Afterhours' released under Play Records, the label she serves as president of.
Beyond studio collaborations, Melleefresh hosts a syndicated DJ mix show, Melleefresh House Party, which airs on podcast platforms and terrestrial and digital radio stations internationally, following an earlier mix show she launched previously. Her recorded output spans house and electronic pop, often built around her own vocals layered over dance productions, but her radio mix series confirms an active DJ practice alongside her performing and production work.
She has also collaborated on releases with artists including Hoxton Whores, Calvertron, and Gettoblasters. Melleefresh's career blends avant-garde performance art roots with mainstream dance-music collaborations, sustained by both her production catalogue and her ongoing radio mix programming.
