Mayhem
Mayhem, the Atlanta-based DJ and producer born Anthony Rotella, has spent more than fifteen years between the studio and the decks. He founded the label 404 Audio and built his name as a promoter as well as a performer, curating shows that brought together bass-music and dance-floor talent in the Southeastern United States club circuit. His Insomniac artist profile credits him with chart-topping releases and taste-making DJ sets that have shaped Atlanta's underground dance scene over the years.
Mayhem has also collaborated on tour and in the studio with fellow producer/DJ Antiserum, presenting joint sets under the “We Are Mayhem x Antiserum” banner and fielding audience questions about their genre-blurring approach to bass music. His career reflects the trajectory of many regional American club DJs: label ownership, event promotion, and consistent bookings rather than global festival headline slots. Early appearances, including a 2008 showcase billed through junglecode in San Francisco, point to a career built gig by gig across clubs and warehouse parties.
Still active in production and DJing, Mayhem remains a fixture of Atlanta's dance music infrastructure, balancing his own sets with running 404 Audio's roster of artists.
