Max Graham

Max Graham, born 17 April 1971 in London and now based in Canada after settling in Ottawa in 1989, is a British-Canadian DJ and producer who began DJing at 15 in 1986, starting out as a hip-hop DJ before discovering dance music in the 1990s. He held a resident DJ slot at Atomic Nightclub in Ottawa from 1997 to 2001, a period that built his reputation within Canada's electronic scene before he moved into international touring focused on progressive house, trance and techno.

Graham was voted number 23 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll in 2001 and was chosen that same year to mix the compilation Tranceport 4, a placement within a respected series of trance and progressive mix albums. Since 2000 he has toured globally as a DJ while producing melodic dance music, later shifting his live shows toward open-to-close sets that let him move across a wider range of tempos and genres in a single performance, describing the format as a true journey of music rather than a fixed-length festival slot.

His path from Ottawa's Atomic Nightclub residency to open-format global touring reflects a career built on progressively longer and more varied DJ sets. More than three decades after starting behind the decks, Graham continues to release music and tour internationally.
