Max Enforcer
Max Enforcer, the hardstyle alias of Rotterdam-based producer Kelly van Soest, born 23 August 1979 in Krimpen aan den IJssel, releases primarily through Neophyte Records after meeting DJ Neophyte in Rotterdam, and performs live as part of the Evil Activities act alongside support performers Jan Kramer, known as DJ Dazzler, and Niels van der Hau. He is also a member of Masters Of Ceremony alongside Jeroen Streunding, Jarno Butter, Danny Greten, and Niels van Hoeckel, and of Hardcore United, an anti-racist collective project with Angerfist, DJ Neophyte, and Outblast. As Max Enforcer he produced the track “Creatures,” billed as the Q-Base 2014 Open Air Anthem, “Fade To Black” featuring The Rush as the Black 2010 Anthem, and “Sound Intense City” with Zany as the Decibel 2011 Anthem, alongside earlier Decibel-linked productions with The Beholder and Balistic. His Evil Activities discography includes the 2003 double album “Dedicated,” which features a live recording from Turbinenhalle Oberhausen, plus “Evilution” in 2008 and “Extreme Audio” in 2012, tracing a hardcore techno and hardstyle career built on Rotterdam's gabber and hardcore label network since the late 1990s.
