Matt Lange

Matt Lange is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, born in 1986, who began his recording career in 2007 working across progressive house and deep house before shifting toward techno production from 2015 onward. He is known for co-producing "Goodbye" with DJ Glenn Morrison and for a production approach built around modular synthesis and isorhythms, techniques that have shaped both his studio work and his DJ sets. Lange founded his own label, Isorhythm, in 2011 as a platform for his original material, and released his debut studio album, Ephemera, in 2015 through Joel Zimmerman's label Mau5trap, following it with a second album, Isolated, in 2020.

His 2014 EP Staccato, released through Anjunadeep, blended progressive house, deep house and ambient textures and drew support from prominent selectors including Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Sasha, Above & Beyond and BBC Radio's Annie Nightingale. Lange also hosts the Tap Tempo Podcast, a recurring showcase for his own sets and productions that has served as a platform for his evolving sound across genres. His DJ practice now spans progressive house, trance and techno, with releases on Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep placing him within that label group's broader roster, while his techno-facing productions since 2015 reflect a deliberate stylistic pivot roughly midway through his recording career.

Lange continues to release music and perform live, including a 2026 premiere event for his track "Recovery" staged in Dolby Atmos in Los Angeles.
