Martin Landsky
Martin Landsky, also known as M:Landsky, is a Hamburg-raised house DJ who became a resident at the club Front in his home city after training as a sound engineer in advertising and dubbing, with club nights held under his name there from 1994. He later moved to Berlin in the late 1990s, performing at E-Werk and subsequently at Globus and Tresor, two of the city's foundational techno venues, and appeared on the You FM Clubnight broadcast in September 2008. His mixes have appeared in the Poker Flat Recordings series, including Poker Flat Vol.
2 and Vol. 5, reflecting his close ties to the Berlin label run by Steve Bug. Landsky founded Effortil Records early in his career before renaming it Intim Records after two releases, and he organized Pokerflat Nights at the club Sternradio alongside Steve Bug and DJ Cle of Marleti Bros.
Most of his productions have circulated on Dessous and Poker Flat Recordings, labels that anchor the deep, groove-driven house sound he has built across nearly three decades. Landsky's path from a teenage funk DJ at school festies to a fixture of Berlin's early techno and house club circuit underscores a career built on residencies, label ties and mix series rather than mainstream crossover.
