Mark Sherry — Tech Trance DJ & Label BossMark Sherry
Mark Sherry, a Scottish DJ born 20 March 1975, has been active since 1994 as a tech-trance specialist and in-house DJ for the Dutch label Detox Records, a role that placed him at the center of the tech-trance scene's rise. He launched the Outburst Radio Show in May 2007, premiering weekly on AH.FM, the leading internet trance station, and syndicating to more than fifteen other stations; the show passed its 300th edition in February 2013 and its 500th in March 2017.
Sherry founded his own label, Outburst Records, in August 2014, extending the brand built by the radio show. His DJ sets have appeared at ID&T's Trance Energy main stage in 2008, Tomorrowland in 2015, ASOT700 in Utrecht in 2015, Space Ibiza's Full On stages and Dance Valley in the Netherlands alongside Ferry Corsten, as well as a Stereosonic Australia tour that year.
In 2014 he played an open-to-close six-hour set at Toika Lounge to mark his Outburst Records anniversary. Sherry has also released on Perfecto Records, Coldharbour, Armada and Spinnin, and his tech trance, hard techno and progressive house sets have been a fixture of the global trance touring circuit for three decades.
