About Mario Ranieri
Mario Ranieri, born in Austria in 1980, has spent more than two decades within the schranz and hardtechno scene as a DJ and producer, founding his own label group, SCHUBfaktor Music, in 1999 while still a teenager. That imprint has since expanded into several sub-labels, including Schlagwerx, Vernacular, Ostarrichi, Girlpower, and SCHUBfaktor Digital, and has helped launch artists who went on to build wider recognition within the scene. As a DJ, Ranieri has been booked in clubs, at events, and at festivals across nearly every country in Europe, with additional bookings extending to South America, reflecting a touring footprint built specifically around the harder techno subgenres. His recorded output runs to more than 84 official releases across vinyl, CD, and digital formats, a count that excludes his separate body of official and unofficial remixes, DJ mixes, and the hundreds of compilation appearances he has contributed to over the years. Through SCHUBfaktor's ongoing releases and his continued touring schedule, Ranieri has remained a consistent presence on the European hardtechno and schranz circuit since launching his label at the turn of the millennium.
