Marco Bailey — Techno DJ & Label Owner

Marco Beelen, performing as Marco Bailey, is a Belgian DJ and techno producer born in 1970 who began DJing at 18, emerging in the mid-1990s as a trance artist before moving into techno. He founded the label Session Recordings in 1999 and MB Elektronics in 2002, and earlier in his career released hard trance under the alias Scorpia through Bonzai Records. He has played festivals including Nature One, Tomorrowland and I Love Techno, building a career as a self-taught DJ after being drawn into the scene through a local club night in Belgium. Over three decades on the decks he has maintained a consistent presence in European techno, moving between labels and sounds while continuing to produce and perform, with recent output including the 2026 single "Dust on My Soul" and full-length releases such as Nocturno and Surreal Stage. His long-running career and adaptability across trance, hard trance and techno have kept him active on festival lineups well into the 2020s, and he continues to run his own labels alongside his touring schedule.
