Manuel de la Mare
Manuel De La Mare, born November 28, 1979 in Barga, Italy, built his DJ career on a Hard Rock Las Vegas residency that began in 2012, the same year he played dates including the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Space Ibiza, Ministry of Sound in London and Amnesia in Miami. In 2007 he co-founded two labels, 303lovers and Hotfingers, with fellow producers Alex Kenji and Luigi Rocca, giving him an outlet for his own material alongside work from other house and tech house artists; the same trio released a mixed compilation through Toolroom Records in November 2012. His breakthrough production credit came with a remix of Ian Round's Dancin, which reached the top 10 of the Beatport chart and drew support from Roger Sanchez, a moment De La Mare has described as a turning point in his career. Later releases included Snapshot, a 2011 collaboration with Mark Knight, and Shaken Not Slurred with John Acquaviva and Luigi Rocca, alongside Ameno on Spinnin' Records the same year. He has also recorded under the aliases Sara Galli, After Tea and Combo, and his catalogue spans work released through Toolroom, Ministry of Sound, Spinnin' and Universal, reflecting a career that combines Las Vegas residency work with international festival and club touring across the house and tech house scenes.
