M.A.N.D.Y. are the Berlin-based DJ and production duo of Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer, whose partnership grew out of resident DJ sets at Frankfurt's Monza Club around 2000. Alongside Booka Shade and Thomas Koch, they co-founded the label Get Physical Music in 2002, a platform that also served as an outlet for the tracks the pair played in their own club sets across Europe.
Their single Body Language, released in 2004 and reissued the following year, was voted Ibiza Track of the Season for 2005 and appeared on more than a hundred compilation albums, cementing its place in DJ sets across the island's clubs. M.A.N.D.Y. extended that release into a long-running mix series, Body Language Volumes 1 through 7, compiling the house and tech-house sounds they favoured behind the decks, and they contributed further mixes to Fabric's compilation series, Renaissance and At The Controls.
The duo's club sets helped define the early-2000s Frankfurt-to-Ibiza house sound alongside labelmates such as DJ T, and they have continued to tour internationally on the strength of both their productions and their DJ bookings. Jung and Bodmer remain closely tied to Get Physical Music's roster and continue to play out as M.A.N.D.Y. on the international house circuit.
