Lucca
DJ Lucca, born Lucie Dvořáková, started mixing in 1999 at Boby Centrum in Brno and turned professional in 2002, going on to become the Czech Republic's most popular DJ according to XMAG magazine in 2003, a title she held five times consecutively. Her sets focus on techno and minimal dance music, and she performed under the Sound of Acapulco brand from 2007 to 2014 while playing festivals and clubs across the Czech Republic and internationally. She occasionally shared the stage at techno parties with guitarist Michal Pavlíček, blending live instrumentation into electronic sets.
Lucca's mix compilations for XMAG included the Hradhouse Warm Up, May Nights and The Sound of Hradhouse series, alongside a Live at Hradhouse DVD and CD package, and a United DJs Vol. 3 mix released on Slovenia's Matrix Muzik alongside Joel Mull. Her studio output includes releases on Acapulco Records such as Towers and Freedom, plus EPs like Iguazu and Thrilla in Manila on 392 TEKKnik eXPrimental Rec, and collaborations with Chris Cowie on Kenguru, Octanum and Mirage Remixes.
Beyond the booth, she married musician Michal Dvořák in 2012 and has two sons with him, while her sister Leona "Qaša" Kvasnicová works as a choreographer and dancer. Lucca's career reflects two decades of consistent club residencies and recognition inside the Czech dance scene.
