Lost Kings
Lost Kings, the Los Angeles-based DJ duo of Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz, hold a residency at Encore Beach Club as part of Wynn Nightlife's resident roster in Las Vegas. Formed in 2014 after the pair met through a mutual friend, they broke through with a remix of Disclosure's Latch that earned radio airplay and led to their signing to Disruptor Records and RCA Records in October 2016. Their touring schedule has included a headlining North American run and international dates across Europe during the summer festival season, supporting a catalogue built on original progressive house alongside official remixes for Imagine Dragons, Krewella, Halsey and Rihanna.
Phone Down, featuring Emily Warren, became their first chart hit on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs tally following the release of their debut EP The Bad EP in 2015. Additional EPs including Paper Crowns, featuring collaborations with Wiz Khalifa and Norma Jean Martine, extended their studio output alongside their live DJ performances. The duo have said their goal is less about fitting a single genre than about making music that connects with a wide range of listeners, an approach they carry into their sets.
Shanholtz has been described as the lead producer of the pair, though both Abisi and Shanholtz perform DJ sets together on tour. Their Wynn residency and North American touring history place them among club-circuit DJ duos to emerge from the mid-2010s EDM scene.
