Leon
Leon, born Ruggero Di Gianvito, is an Italian house, techno and electronic DJ and producer born in Teramo and raised between Rome and Riccione, where his passion for the genre developed in the 1990s under the influence of Todd Terry, Danny Tenaglia and Laurent Garnier. He built his career across more than two decades of international bookings, with his obsession for house, electro and techno music shaping a DJ style he still credits to those early influences. Leon has performed at clubs throughout Italy and internationally, and continues to hold spots at venues including the Magic Club in Padova, where he delivered an underground set in 2025 documented on video by Guestroom. He runs his own label imprint alongside his DJ work, and Italian dance media such as Technodancers and Parkett have profiled him as a consistent presence on the country's house and techno circuit, especially through the pandemic period when he continued releasing new material. Now in his forties, Leon is described within the Italian scene as a deejay, label boss and hit-maker who performs regularly across clubs in Italy and abroad, maintaining momentum built over his more than twenty years behind the decks.
