Lag
Lag is the performing name of Miloš Martinov, a Serbian techno DJ, producer and promoter who moved from a punk background through classical music training before settling into techno, first establishing himself as a DJ and later founding the organization 29524 to run educational events, workshops and club nights. His DJ sets, described by Fourfour Mag as a balance between hard-edged and experimental techno, have taken him to Berghain in Berlin and to the main DJ stage of Serbia's Exit festival, along with the long-running Berlin club Tresor. Apple Music's biography notes his output on the influential label Mord, tracing a catalog from 2013's Misfit EP through 2018's Rutra, releases that established him within the global techno scene as both a DJ and studio artist. He has also released on labels including Them, Earwiggle and Singularity Recordings, and Skiddle describes his organizing work through 29524 as aimed at closing the gap between underdocumented and widely known corners of the scene. Performing under the Commissar Lag banner in more recent bookings, Martinov continues touring internationally while maintaining Serbia's techno profile through both DJ sets and production.
