La Fuente
La Fuente is the stage name of Job Smeltzer, a Dutch DJ and producer born in Eindhoven in 1983 who has been active since 2008 and built a career known for energetic, colorful sets blending house, tech house and funky grooves. He has performed at major festivals including Tomorrowland, Sensation and Dance Valley, where he played the Spaarnwoude site in August 2022, and in April 2020 he performed at the Quarantaine Festival staged by Dutch broadcaster SLAM! at PSV's Philips Stadion.
That same year he hosted La Fuente Talks at Pathé Eindhoven and appeared alongside JayJay Boske on the Day1 YouTube channel, extending his reach into video content alongside his club and festival dates through a series called Daily Driver. His single I Want You was named a 538 Dancesmash, a designation from Dutch radio station 538 that signals significant national radio support for a dance track. Smeltzer holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Fontys Hogescholen, a business background that has run alongside his music career since he started producing and DJing in the late 2000s.
Now well into his second decade as La Fuente, he remains a regular presence on the Dutch festival circuit and a recognizable name within the country's mainstream dance scene.
