Kryder — Tech & Progressive House DJKryder
Kryder is the stage name of English DJ and producer Christopher Simon Knight, born 28 October 1980. He built his profile through the tech and progressive house circuit in the early 2010s, releasing on labels including Musical Freedom, Spinnin' Records, Armada Trice, Cr2 Records, Axtone Records and Sosumi Records between 2011 and 2014.
His single 'Aphrodite' on Axtone in 2013 and 'Tarzan' on Sosumi in 2014 alongside 'Big Momma's House' with Tom Staar cemented his club DJ status, and his remix of Kolsch's 'All That Matters' reached number one on Beatport. He runs his own label Kryteria Records, on which he released the mix compilation God Save the Groove Vol.
1 in November 2018, and he hosts the Kryteria Radio mix show carried on SoundCloud and podcast platforms. He entered DJ Mag's Top 101 to 150 DJs poll in 2015 at number 108 and again in 2016 at number 134, was nominated at the IDMAs for Best Progressive House and Electro DJ in 2015 and 2016, and ranked number 10 on 1001Tracklists' Top 101 Producers in 2017.
