Kolombo

Kolombo, the alias of Olivier Gregoire from Namur in southern Belgium, has produced dance music since 2001, building a catalogue across house and disco styles. He first gained international prominence as part of the Loulou Players duo alongside Djerom, a partnership that became influential across southern Belgium's rave and festival circuit and produced remixes for Darren Emerson, Joachim Garraud, Zoo Brasil and John Acquaviva.

The duo's international profile grew further through releases on King Kong Records, the label run by producer Sharam Jey, and Gregoire went on to found his own imprint, Loulou Records. He later began releasing solo material under the Kolombo name, developing a sound that blends house with disco elements across labels including Kompakt and Nervous Records.

Before his production career took off, Gregoire had been DJing around Namur for years and promoting successful local parties, work that fed directly into his later studio output. Kolombo's transition from the Loulou Players collaboration into a solo house and disco producer and touring DJ reflects a career built steadily from local Belgian club roots into international festival and label recognition over more than two decades.
