Koen Groeneveld
Koen Groeneveld is a Dutch DJ and producer working across techno and tech house who launched his own label, aBZoluT, in spring 2008. His early release Wake Turbulence reached number one across several major online stores, and over the following years he logged more than 20 top-10 hits on Beatport alongside numerous number-one placements. His biggest crossover moment came when Toolroom Records released a collaboration between Fatboy Slim and Groeneveld reworking Rockafeller Skank, which reached number one on multiple charts in March 2009.
He has released across labels including Toolroom Records, 1605, Deeperfect, Spinnin', Bosphorus Underground and BluFin, alongside his own imprint. Collaborations followed with Mark Knight on Put Your Hands Up, Ahmet Sendil on Flaps 128, and Tocadisco on Techno Logical World, all released in 2009. In 2017 he worked with trance producer Markus Schulz on Mota-Mota for Schulz's Dakota project, blending techno and trance elements.
Groeneveld placed seventh out of hundreds of DJs in the House Planet DJ Poll 2009 and has delivered official remixes for artists including Depeche Mode, Umek and Sander van Doorn, building a reputation as an in-demand remixer within the techno and tech house scene over more than fifteen years of releases.
