Kaskade — House & Progressive House DJKaskade
Ryan Gary Raddon, known as Kaskade, is an American DJ from Chicago whose career has moved from record-label work and club residencies to major festival headline sets. He began as an A&R assistant at Om Records, then established himself through house, progressive house, electro house, deep house and downtempo selections characterized by uplifting, emotionally bright dance anthems. In Las Vegas, his Kaskade Sundays residency at Encore Beach Club began on 30 May 2010 and became a sustained venue connection.
His festival profile includes headline appearances at Ultra and EDC Las Vegas in 2012, plus Coachella performances in 2012 and 2015. The 2015 Coachella set, joined by Drake, drew one of the festival's largest crowds. Kaskade also performed throughout Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, becoming the first DJ to do so.
His releases have appeared through Om, Ultra, mau5trap and Monstercat, and he is one half of Kx5 with deadmau5. DJ Mag placed him 51st in 2009, while DJ Times named him America's Best DJ in 2011 and 2013. His mix of residency experience, festival-scale sets and optimistic house programming has kept Kaskade a significant American dance-music performer.
