Jonas Saalbach
Jonas Saalbach is a German melodic house DJ, producer, and live act who grew up in Herborn, Hesse, before relocating to Frankfurt to train as a studio sound technician and later moving to Berlin around 2011. He began organizing his own parties in his hometown around 2009, drawing early inspiration from Trentemøller, Stephan Bodzin, and Oliver Huntemann, and released his first EP, Start ohne Ende, in 2010.
Saalbach's touring career has taken him to Kyiv, Helsinki, London, Paris, Dubai, Mexico, Egypt, Tunisia, Georgia, Lebanon, and Canada, alongside festival appearances at Fusion, Feel Festival, and Utopia Island in Germany, Lightning in a Bottle in the United States, and Fest Festival in Poland. His 2015 debut album, Ancient Lake, arrived on Einmusika Recordings, the same label behind his later albums Perspective, Reminiscence, and Headlights, with the latter named Album of the Week by German radio station Sunshine Live in 2021.
In 2018, Saalbach co-founded the label Radikon alongside David Guzy, and the following year he performed a session for Cercle's YouTube channel alongside Einmusik. Beyond DJing, Saalbach also performs live using electronic instruments, extending his melodic house sets into a hybrid live format.
