Jaytech

Jaytech, the stage name of Australian DJ and producer James Cayzer, began producing dance music as a young teenager and went on to release through established labels including Vapour, Ministry of Sound and Supplement Facts, before founding his own label, Red Seven Records, primarily to release his own material as his profile grew. As a touring DJ he has played international club dates, including a performance at ageHa in Tokyo that he described in an interview as one of the standout shows of his touring career, citing the venue's unusual layout, complete with its own beach and swimming pool, as a memorable setting. Jaytech's melodic, colorfully layered production style traces back to his early listening habits, having discovered dance music around 1996 through Paul van Dyk records and other trance releases before attending his first dance event in 1999, an experience that pushed him toward writing and performing trance himself. He built his DJ career touring internationally off the strength of his Red Seven Records catalogue, playing club sets that blend trance roots with a broader melodic house approach developed over his career. He continues to record and tour under the Jaytech name.
