Ivan Gough

Ivan Gough is an Australian house and progressive house DJ and producer from Wonga Park in Melbourne who became an influential figure in the city's underground scene from the late 1990s. He ran the studio for Australian deep house label Zero Tolerance between 1999 and 2004, and in 1997 worked with Phil K and Andy Page on what is considered one of Australia's first nu school breaks records. In 2004 he formed the production outfit TV Rock with fellow Melbourne DJ Grant Smillie, and the pair's single Flaunt It became the highest-selling dance single by an Australian artist in 2006, with the group touring the Future Music Festival circuit in 2010. Gough left TV Rock in early 2013 to pursue solo work, releasing tracks including Kukatu and Home that year, and his 2012 collaboration with Feenixpawl, In My Mind, became one of his most widely recognized productions. He has continued releasing music into the 2020s, including remix and collaborative work such as the Ivan Gough and Marcus Santoro remix of 200 Years, maintaining an ongoing presence on Australia's house and progressive scenes across a career now spanning more than two decades.
