About Ilario Alicante
Ilario Alicante is a techno DJ from Livorno, born in 1988, who made a record-breaking debut at Time Warp at age fifteen and has held a long-running residency at Pachamama. Based in Berlin for years, he built his reputation through club and festival bookings across Europe, North America and South America before extending his touring further afield, with widely noted sets during recent Ibiza seasons. His productions have appeared on Tenax Recordings, Cecille Records, Cocoon Recordings and SCI+TEC Digital Audio, and he also releases through his own label, Deep Moves, alongside a separate alias, ILL-R, used to explore sounds outside his main techno output. Alicante's connection to Sven Vath's Cocoon imprint brought him into that agency's touring and booking network, reinforcing his standing within the European techno circuit centered on labels associated with Vath and the Cocoon brand. Starting out within his local DJ community as a self-described clubber, he has maintained that grounding in dancefloor culture throughout a career built on festival and club dates rather than crossover commercial releases, with Time Warp remaining the most explicitly named festival credit tied to his rise.
