About Hot Since 82
Hot Since 82, the South Yorkshire-born Daley Padley, is a British house DJ who has released music under the moniker since 2011, rising from a Leeds bedroom producer to festival headliner within a few years. His breakthrough came after plugging his phone into an Ibiza party sound system in 2011, a moment that launched his run of club and festival bookings across the deep and tech house circuit.
Padley runs the label Knee Deep In Sound, through which he has released his own material and championed other artists, and he won a DJ Award in 2015 for his contribution to house music. He is currently based in Leeds and continues to tour internationally, with recent sets including a b2b performance with Max Dean at Factory Town Miami in 2025 that was later released as a DJ mix.
His production work spans club-focused house tracks and collaborations, including Buggin' featuring Jem Cooke, while his new album Obsessions, described as a UK deep house record, is set for release on Knee Deep In Sound on 4 September 2026. Across more than a decade behind the decks, Hot Since 82 has built a reputation as a steady presence on the international house circuit, balancing production output with sustained festival and club residency work under his own label banner.
