Hans Bouffmyhre
Hans Bouffmyhre is a techno DJ whose name originated in the summer of 2006 when a group of friends launched a techno night in a basement venue in Paisley, Scotland, a project that grew into an established artist within the worldwide techno scene over the following fifteen years. He has released music on techno labels including Soma Records, Electric Deluxe, Perc Trax, and Suara, while also running his own imprint, Sleaze Records, which he has continued to build as one of the UK's notable techno labels. Bouffmyhre's DJ sets have taken him to some of the most recognized clubs in techno, including Berghain in Berlin, Melkweg in Amsterdam, Rex Club in Paris, and Sub Club in Glasgow, the venue where he has held residency ties through events like Return to Mono. His style is often described as raw, hypnotic, and energetic, qualities that have carried through both his club performances and his production output. Alongside his DJ and producer roles, Bouffmyhre also manages his label and organizes parties, giving him a hand in multiple sides of the techno scene beyond performing.
