Guy Mantzur
Guy Mantzur grew up amid Tel Aviv's music scene, playing local clubs and outdoor parties through the 1990s before developing a progressive, tech house and deep house sound distinct from his early chillout leanings. He won Israel's Best Underground DJ at the XL Awards in 2013 during his residency at Tel Aviv's Cat & Dog nightclub, a period that established him as a fixture of the city's electronic scene.
Mantzur has performed internationally at Tomorrowland, Burning Man, Hï Ibiza and Mixmag Lab, building a global touring profile alongside his advocacy for Israel's broader electronic music community. He co-founded Plattenbank, a Munich-based label supporting emerging electronic talent, and in 2019 launched Moments, a party concept and label built around creating a relaxed, communal listening environment; its inaugural event took place as a "musical picnic" at Shalvata TLV on Tel Aviv's beach.
His music has appeared on Bedrock, the label run by John Digweed, and on Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream, and he has remixed and collaborated with Black Coffee. Mantzur has described Tel Aviv as carrying a distinctly peaceful, "chill vibes" character that continues to shape both his sound and his commitment to building spaces for the city's dance community.
