Guy Gerber is an Israeli DJ who built his reputation on residencies at Ibiza's Pacha, where his Wisdom of the Glove night became a recurring summer fixture across multiple seasons at the club. Coming up through underground techno alongside collaborators like Luciano and John Digweed, Gerber developed a DJ style he describes as closer to lying in a flower bed than a workout, favouring elegant, hypnotic blends of deep house and techno over aggressive peak-time mixing. His sets have ranged from twelve-hour marathon slots at Burning Man to sunset-timed programming on the beaches of Ibiza, and he made his SXM Festival debut in St.
Martin as part of a touring schedule that keeps him behind the decks at underground clubs worldwide. Gerber runs two labels tied closely to his DJ output, Supplemental Facts and Rumors, the latter also lending its name to the itinerant Rumors party series he founded and now also hosts through his Rumors Club in Mexico City. He has released mix compilations including a Fabric Live session, and continues to describe himself first as a musician and producer even as his club residencies remain central to his career.
Born in Holon in 1974, Gerber has spent over two decades touring internationally on the strength of his DJ sets alongside his production work.
