Giorgia Angiuli
Giorgia Angiuli is an Italian live electronic performer whose one-woman shows combine keyboards, drum pads, a theremin and toy instruments including flutes, saxophones and trumpets to build live sets rather than conventional DJ mixes. Her audiovisual project We Love led to an exclusivity deal with the label Bpitch Control in 2010, and in 2013 she began a residency at Tenax club in Florence, a period she has credited with letting her constantly refine and improvise her live show. In 2014 she joined Kevin Saunderson's techno label KMS and began being represented in Italy by La Terra Management, the agency founded by DJ Ralf.
Angiuli also hosts the radio program Live Is More on Italian station Soundzrise, where she presents live acts from across the international dance scene, extending her presence beyond her own performances. Her sets move between pop, techno and house, built around a hands-on, improvisational method that uses her voice alongside layered toy-instrument samples and loops to create an energetic groove. She has also composed music for films, commercials and fashion shows, work that runs alongside her live performance career.
Angiuli's format sits closer to live performance than turntable DJing, but her club and festival bookings and radio hosting keep her within the electronic performance and DJ-adjacent touring circuit.
