Getter
Getter, born Tanner Stephen Petulla in San Jose, California, has DJed across the United States bass-music circuit since his late teens, having started producing in high school and built a following in the scene from 2010 onward. He signed to Datsik's Firepower Records in 2012 before moving to OWSLA, releasing through Rottun Recordings and gaining early traction with support from Datsik and Downlink; his 2013 studio album I Want More established him within trap and dubstep before the Trenchlords project, beginning with its first volume in 2014, pushed his sound further into hip-hop-inflected territory. As a DJ, he has been a regular performer at Electric Daisy Carnival, played Snowbombing in Canada and performed club dates including a November 2015 set at Vancouver's Red Room Ultra Bar. In 2017, he launched Shred Collective as a label, clothing brand and artist collective, and his catalogue has included collaborations with Skrillex, Borgore, Dillon Francis and Ghastly, along with releases through mau5trap and Monstercat. Getter has also worked under the alias Terror Reid and built a parallel career as a rapper, but his DJ sets and festival bookings across the American bass scene remain the foundation of his live career.
