Galantis
Galantis, the Swedish project of Christian Karlsson, also known as Bloodshy, and formerly featuring Linus Eklöw under his Style of Eye alias, built a live and DJ-set-driven profile from Stockholm outward starting in 2012. Eklöw began DJing drum and bass at age 16 before releasing and remixing music through Classic Recordings, Tiny Sticks and Rabid Records, experience that fed into Galantis's live show once the project launched. Galantis debuted its live performance at Coachella on April 12, 2014, less than two weeks after its first release, delivering an hour-long set at the Gobi Tent built around live controllers, visuals and a Seafox stage setup that was dubbed Seafoxchella and won a Billboard readers' poll for the festival's best dance-music moment, beating out Calvin Harris and Disclosure. The duo returned to Coachella in 2017 and undertook the 22-date Pharmacy summer tour in 2015, while its track You became the eighth-most Shazamed song at Ultra Music Festival and Miami Music Week. Signed to Big Beat, Atlantic and Warner, Galantis has continued playing festival main stages and headline DJ sets built around a blend of EDM, progressive house and dance-pop, including a 2018 Hangout Music Festival appearance that premiered Spaceship featuring Uffie.
