Frontliner
Frontliner, born Barry Drooger in Emmeloord, is a Dutch hardstyle DJ, producer, and composer who began producing in 2005 under the alias Abject before moving into the hardstyle sound that defines his current output. In June 2012 he founded his own label, Keep It Up Music, which has since served as an outlet for his releases and DJ-facing material within the hardstyle scene.
His festival résumé includes appearances at Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, Qlimax, Reverze, and In Qontrol, placing him among the regularly booked names across the major European harddance festival circuit. Coverage of his career describes him as a high-energy, polished performer whose sets and productions have made him one of the more visible artists in the genre's current generation, with over 700 documented DJ appearances tracked by the Dutch database Partyflock alongside his production and live credits.
He performs occasionally under the alias Alter Ego and has been affiliated with the collective B-Frontliner. Active since the mid-2000s, Frontliner's career has combined a steady festival touring schedule with label ownership, positioning him as both a performer and a behind-the-scenes figure within the Dutch hardstyle circuit he has been part of for close to two decades.
