Finnebassen
Finnebassen is a Norwegian DJ and producer who established an international career during the deep house resurgence of the mid-2000s before stepping away from DJing for several years, leaving a noticeable gap in Oslo's club scene at Jaeger. His gradual return began roughly a year before contributing to the Jaeger Mix series, debuting with JM#229, a set he adapted for an early-evening, intimate listening context rather than a peak-time club slot.
Finnebassen's style favors lower tempos and a chugging low end, with bass and percussion built to roll rather than drive, a sound he has described as deep and rolling. He previously contributed to the same Jaeger Mix series years earlier, appearing as JM#072 in November 2017, and has played sets at Culture Box in Copenhagen and Oslo's Basement Sessions alongside Simon Field and Blichfeldt.
His mixes have also circulated through Ibiza Global Radio, including a Best Of 2013 selection that showcased his early groove-oriented house sound. Finnebassen's career arc, from an early breakout in Norway's house scene to a hiatus and considered return to the booth, reflects a deliberate, craft-focused approach to DJing rather than a continuous touring schedule.
