Felix Cartal — Melodic House & Electro-Pop DJFelix Cartal
Felix Cartal is a Canadian DJ and producer known for filming and streaming live DJ sets from unconventional locations as part of his touring presence. He has recorded and released video mixes including a house set from the CN Tower in Toronto and a live performance from the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, British Columbia, pairing his studio releases with visually distinctive live-set content.
Cartal tours regularly on the North American club circuit and has spoken in interviews, including with Billboard Canada, about his approach to production and touring life, describing the repetitive rhythms of life on the road between shows. He maintains a weekly newsletter and blog documenting his touring schedule and studio process, giving fans an ongoing look at both his live show preparation and his opinions on the wider electronic music industry.
His sets draw on a melodic house and electro-pop sensibility that carries through from his studio releases into his club and festival performances. He continues to combine international festival dates with smaller, scenic live-set videos that have become part of his public identity as a touring DJ.
