Eva Shaw
Eva Shaw, a Toronto-born DJ and producer also known as DJ Bambi, taught herself to DJ and make beats as a hobby before moving to New York City and eventually holding DJ residencies at Las Vegas nightclubs, including Hakkasan at MGM Grand. Her breakout single "Charizma" was signed by Calvin Harris to his own label, Fly Eye Records, launching a run of releases that included "Get Down," which reached number 39 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and "Space Jungle," which drew more than 40 million views.
She released "Moxie" on Afrojack's label in 2015 and "N2U" with singer Martha Wash, extending her profile across dance-pop and electronic circles. Shaw performed at the 2015 Spring Awakening Music Festival and has released material through Spinnin', Wall Recordings and Mad Fatti, including the 2020 EP I Been Doing Great with Nate Husser.
Beyond music, she built a parallel career as a fashion model and actor, appearing in the 2024 season of the Canadian comedy series Shoresy. Her catalogue continued through the 2020s with collaborative singles alongside Nate Husser, Booka Banks, Thouxanbanfauni and other artists, reflecting a career balancing Las Vegas club residency work with an independent release schedule spanning electronic, hip-hop and pop-adjacent styles.
