Estiva — Progressive Trance & House DJEstiva
Estiva, born Steven Baan on 18 December 1987 in the small Dutch village of Reeuwijk, is a Dutch DJ who built an international touring career from a bedroom-production start. Baan began releasing music around age 18 and developed into a progressive trance and progressive house DJ signed to Anjunabeats, the label through which he issues much of his DJ-facing material, alongside releases on Colorize.
His transition from home studio work to widespread touring took him across Europe and North America, with Anjunabeats describing his rise as one that moved him from a small-town bedroom producer to a regularly booked international DJ. Estiva also performs under the alias Kudus, a separate outlet for material outside his main progressive trance and techno sound.
His DJ sets are built around a progressive-leaning sound that blends trance structures with techno elements, a hybrid approach that has helped him stand out within the Anjunabeats roster and the wider progressive trance touring circuit.
