Eptic, born Michaël Bella on 9 April 1993 in Waasmunster, Belgium, is a Belgian dubstep DJ and producer who began his DJ career at age 19 and has since toured internationally under labels including Never Say Die Records, Monstercat and his own Overlord Music. His breakthrough extended play “Like a Boss” arrived on Never Say Die Records in 2012, followed by “Overlord” in 2016, which peaked at number 22 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and gave the imprint its name.
Bella has continued to tour behind that catalogue, including a 2024 “Hell On Earth” tour date in Antwerp at the Trix venue, keeping him connected to Belgium's club scene even as his profile has grown internationally. He became the only Belgian artist featured on a DJ Snake album, a placement that drew domestic media attention to a producer whose core genre, dubstep, had already passed its commercial peak within Belgium by that point.
His catalogue has continued to expand with releases including the 2022 album “The End of the World” and the 2025 extended play “Darkstar,” both released through Overlord Music. More than a decade into his career, Eptic remains a touring dubstep DJ whose bass-heavy productions and international festival dates have kept him visible on a global bass-music circuit even as the genre's popularity has shifted in his home country.
