EDX

Maurizio Colella, known as EDX, is a Swiss DJ from Zürich whose sets and productions draw on progressive house, deep house, house and electro house. He started early, making cassette mixes for the Tarot Techno party series at Club Oxa in 1994, and released his first track, I'm Not Interested, through Warner Music Switzerland in 1997. He founded Club Control in 1998 and Sirup Music in 2001, later returning with a distinct progressive-house direction in 2007.

A remix of Kaskade's Angel on My Shoulder is credited as his United States breakthrough. EDX's DJ career includes a residency at Space in Ibiza from 2011 and a Las Vegas residency with Wynn Nightlife from 2017. In the same year he launched No Xcuses, a weekly radio show that debuted on Sirius XM and has since been syndicated across multiple stations.

By the end of 2015, he was Beatport's top-charting artist across all genres, with Belong reaching number one on the overall chart. His recognitions include a top-three placement in Beatport's 2009 Best Progressive House Artist award and a 2019 Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording for Charlie Puth's How Long. With long-running residencies, radio programming and labels of his own, EDX has made progressive and deep house feel both polished and consistently club-centered.
