East & Young
East & Young, a DJ and production duo from Enschede in the Netherlands, built their profile through club dates and studio collaborations that pushed them into contact with major names in dance music. The pair's biggest placement came in 2016, when Netflix commissioned them alongside Galantis to create "Make Me Feel" as the theme song for the film XOXO, a soundtrack that also featured their official remix of Galantis's "Gold Dust." They later joined forces with Tim Hox and Sofiya Nzau on "Daci," featured on The Myth of Nyx, extending a run of collaborations with established electronic acts. Their catalogue has been released across labels including Spinnin' Records, Ultra, Atlantic Recording, Universal Music, Hed Kandi, Defected, Strictly Rhythm and Flamingo Recordings, reflecting a broad footprint across house and dance-pop imprints. East & Young's studio work sits alongside DJ bookings built on the strength of those chart-oriented productions, with their sound described by their label as blending genres while chasing an accessible, festival-ready energy. Though detailed residency and festival-date records are limited in available sources, the duo's Netflix placement and label roster of collaborators mark them as an act whose DJ identity is closely tied to a steady stream of dancefloor-focused single releases built for club play.
