Droeloe
DROELOE is a Dutch electronic music project fronted by producer and DJ Vincent Rooijers, who has run the act solo since 2021 after founding it in 2016 with visual artist Hein Hamers. Genius credits Rooijers as the primary producer, songwriter and DJ behind the project throughout its run, with Hamers originally responsible for the duo's distinctive visual identity during live and DJ performances.
The act's future bass sound, marked by bright, percussive production and heavy emphasis on visual presentation, caught the attention of fellow Dutch producer San Holo, who signed DROELOE to his Bitbird label, where singles built the project's early audience. Apple Music notes that the duo's blend of sonic and visual storytelling became a defining trait of their live shows, an approach Rooijers has continued as he tours under the DROELOE name.
The project announced its first headline tour across North America following the release of its second EP, The Choices We Face, expanding from festival support slots into dedicated live and DJ dates. DROELOE's trajectory, from a visually driven Dutch duo to a solo-run touring act, reflects a career built on pairing future bass production with a consistent visual and performance identity across DJ sets and headline shows.
