Doorly
Doorly, born Martin Doorly, is a UK-born, Ibiza-based DJ known for an open-format style spanning house, disco, techno, garage, drum and bass and dubstep, often mixed using vinyl, CDJs, samplers and live effects. His breakthrough came in 2008 when he invited Pete Tong to play a warehouse party he had organized in Huddersfield, a booking that impressed Tong enough to launch Doorly's wider career. He hosts parties at Ibiza Rocks House and has held a residency at Pacha, Ibiza, and he has also played Ministry of Sound in London as part of the Doorly & Friends night, sharing bills with artists including Cajmere, The 2 Bears and Zinc. Doorly's technical mixing skill, often praised by peers, extended into his release output on his own imprint, Reptile Dysfunction, launched through Fabric London, which showcases his genre-blending production alongside his DJ work. Consistently described as a rapidly rising producer and DJ talent since his breakthrough, Doorly has built a reputation as a hip hop-influenced turntablist DJ within house and techno circles, maintaining an active touring and residency schedule between Ibiza and international club dates.
