Doctor P
Doctor P is the stage name of Shaun Brockhurst, an English dubstep producer and DJ credited as a co-founder of Circus Records alongside Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E, and Ear Bang Team. His DJ sets and productions, including tracks such as 'Bass Cannon' and 'Big Boss,' became touchstones of the early UK dubstep and bass-music movement, and he has toured extensively on the strength of that catalogue.
Brockhurst also produces drum and bass under separate aliases, including Sounds Destructive, broadening his output beyond the Doctor P name while keeping his DJ bookings tied to the harder-edged bass sound he helped popularize. Circus Records, the label he co-founded, has served as a platform for his own releases as well as those of collaborators such as Caspa and FuntCase, reinforcing his standing within the UK bass-music DJ circuit.
