DJ S.K.T
DJ S.K.T is the performing name of Stephen Kenny Tempest, a London DJ and producer who entered under-18 competitions including the Technics DMC battle and BBC Radio 1's Search for a DJ before turning professional. He became resident DJ on BBC 1Xtra Talent in February 2014, later launching a weekly show on Kiss FM in 2016 and holding a Saturday night residency on Kiss Fresh that reached over half a million listeners weekly by 2019.
His radio work extended to guest mixes for Capital Xtra and a featured mix on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix strand, on which producer MK appeared. Beyond radio, he has held a headline show at Ministry of Sound and played international dates at Ibiza Rocks and Eden, working primarily across house, tech house, deep house, and UK garage.
In 2018 he released a triple-CD mix compilation titled Pure Tech House, further establishing his mixing credentials on record as well as on air. His productions, including Certi (Move Your Body) and Round & Round (Boomerang), have received Kiss FM daytime playlist support, with the latter named a Radio 1 Tune of the Week, reinforcing a career built jointly on radio residencies and club dates since 2004.
