Hazard
DJ Hazard, born Scott Molloy in 1977, is a Birmingham-based drum and bass DJ and producer known for a hard-hitting jump-up style that rose to prominence under DJ Hype's Playaz Recordings label. His signature track, Bricks Don't Roll, released in 2014, remains one of the most referenced anthems in jump-up drum and bass, while earlier tracks such as Mr. Happy, made with Distorted Minds, and Busted reached high positions on the UK Indie Chart.
Hazard has been a regular performer at FabricLive's Playaz nights, where he has played to sold-out crowds as part of the label's flagship club events. In 2017, he won the Best DJ Award at the Drum and Bass Awards, ending a long-held winning streak previously held by Andy C, a result that marked a significant shift within the genre's competitive circuit. Beyond performing, Hazard runs his own platform, Radius Recordings, which he has used to support newer talent in the jump-up scene.
Across a career spanning more than two decades, Hazard has remained closely tied to the jump-up strand of drum and bass, both through his club residencies and his continued production output.
