Disciples
Disciples is an English DJ and production trio from South London made up of Nathan Vincent Duvall, Gavin Koolmon and Luke McDermott, who broke into house music with the 2013 EP Remedy on New State Music, first aired by DJ Target on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show 100% HomeGrown. Their 2014 single Catwalk was picked up by Pete Tong, and in February 2015 their track They Don't Know, released through FFRR Records, was named BBC Radio 1's Track of the Day and featured on Tong's Essential Mix, cementing their profile within UK dance radio. Later that year, their collaboration with Calvin Harris, How Deep Is Your Love, reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning nominations for British Artist Video of the Year and British Single at the 2016 Brit Awards. The trio followed with Daylight in August 2016 and continued releasing through FFRR, building a run of radio-supported singles that translated into festival and club bookings across the UK dance circuit. Their sound blends deep house grooves with pop songwriting, a combination that helped move them from radio specialist play into mainstream chart territory while keeping their DJ sets rooted in house music foundations.
