Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike — Electro House & Progressive DJ DuoDimitri Vegas & Like Mike
Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios, known as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, are Belgian brothers of Greek descent who were raised in Willebroek. They began as small-club DJs, with Dimitri becoming a resident at Privilege and Space Ibiza from 2003, before developing the duo's large-scale electro house and progressive house performances. Their sound also touches future house and techno, while their festival identity is closely tied to theatrical stage concepts. In Ibiza, they held an Amnesia residency from 2014 to 2016 and have been associated with Ushuaïa since 2017.
Tomorrowland has been a particular focus: they wrote several festival anthems between 2010 and 2014 and have presented the Garden of Madness stage since 2017. Their other major appearances include Ultra Music Festival, EDC and Creamfields. In December 2014, their Bringing the World the Madness concerts drew 40,000 fans to Antwerp's Sportpaleis. They founded Smash the House in 2010, extending their DJ work into label curation.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike won DJ Mag's Top 100 poll in 2015 and 2019, becoming the first Belgian artists to do so. From their beginnings in smaller rooms to recurring Ibiza and Tomorrowland stages, their career has been centred on communal, festival-scale dance music.
